Built from the estimator's point of view

Better estimates start with better context.

ZULU helps teams turn project scope, estimating standards, cost knowledge, and human judgment into a process that can be understood, repeated, and improved.

Our point of view

An estimate is more than a number.

Every estimate is the result of decisions: what is included, what is excluded, which assumptions were made, which costs were trusted, and how uncertainty was handled.

Most organizations already possess much of the knowledge needed to estimate well. The problem is that knowledge is often scattered across people, spreadsheets, old estimates, shared drives, and unwritten habits.

ZULU is built to preserve that context. Instead of treating each estimate as an isolated document, ZULU treats estimating as an evolving system of scope, standards, assumptions, revisions, and decisions that teams can inspect and build upon.

Traceable decisions

An estimate should make it possible to understand not only the total, but the assumptions and decisions that produced it.

Organizational intelligence

Standard costs, estimating rules, project history, and experienced judgment become more valuable when they can be reused instead of rediscovered.

Human judgment stays visible

AI should strengthen estimator judgment, not hide it. ZULU provides intelligence and structure while keeping people responsible for the decisions that matter.
